Sustainability is a primary focus of my design philosophy. I strongly believe in the importance of designing versatile apparel and gear that adaptable to multiple conditions of uses. I maximize the use of natural and recycled materials in all of my designs to minimize environmental impact.

My work draws inspiration from historic apparel and gear to revive design elements and heritage textiles that can help solve modern design problems. In particular, I am inspired by expeditionary, military, and workwear apparel and gear from 1870-1950.

COOMB HIKING TROUSERS

Adventure-ready pants that integrate seamlessly with backpack hip belts. Made from 100% cotton duck with an array of highly functional pockets.

HISTORIC DENIM JEANS

Custom Japanese selvage jeans inspired by early American workwear history. Made to last with heritage textiles, hardware, and construction.

DENIM CHORE COAT

Inspired by Depression-era chore coats made from natural indigo Japanese selvage denim and reinforced with Dyneema composite fabric.
